Great News!  Governor Newsom has signed both bills sponsored by the California Clean Money Campaign, SB 1360 the Disclosure Clarity Act and AB 1416 the Disclosure Clarity Act.

Wealthy special interests have a huge unfair advantage on ballot measures, spending millions on deceptive ads that often mislead voters about who really supports or opposes.  His signature on SB 1360 to ensure that voters can easily see the top funders of political ads and of AB 1416 to ensure that every voter knows key supporters and opponents of ballot measures are important steps for leveling the playing field.

It's important to show elected officials that we're watching and appreciate when they do the right thing.
