Dear Editor:

Last week, the state Senate passed SB 52, the California DISCLOSE Act, with a significant vote of 28-11. Clearly, it says people want to stop secret spending in California campaigns by requiring all political ads to clearly show their top three funders -- right on the ads themselves.

California has been and continues to be a shower for the rest of the country. And I truly believe this can be a critical first step toward regaining equality and equilibrium in American politics.

Imagine the power if everyone reading this took just a few minutes to write their Assembly members and asked them to do everything in their power to help SB 52 pass in the Assembly.

Dan Dippery,
